We’re excited to announce the latest episode of Between a Rocket & a Hard Space, the official podcast of the ISS National Lab, featuring Tamara Baldanza-Dekker, chief marketing officer of Margaritaville.
In this episode, we dive into the story behind a first-of-its-kind collaboration between Margaritaville and the ISS National Lab to create a mission patch. The patch is available to the public for purchase, and all proceeds will be donated to CASIS, manager of the ISS National Lab, and allocated to support space research that benefits life on Earth.
We also celebrate the legacy of Jimmy Buffett; Margaritaville’s founder, iconic singer-songwriter, storyteller, and entrepreneur—who was deeply involved in the early origins of the patch and was an avid space enthusiast. This initiative honors Jimmy’s passion for exploration and ensures his legacy continues to inspire space-based R&D.
