2020 ISS National Lab Annual Report
As we approach the milestone of 20 years of continuous human presence on the ISS, we celebrate the vast progress made toward the advancement of science in space and the establishment of a robust economy in low Earth orbit. The ISS National Lab continues to build on these successes in fiscal year 2020.
2019 ISS National Lab Annual Report
In FY19, the ISS National Lab set several all-time records in our key performance metrics (as defined by our Annual Program Plan with NASA). The ISS National Lab continued cultivating innovative R&D ideas from across the U.S., awarding a record 62 projects and programs, a 24% increase over FY18.
2018 ISS National Lab Annual Report
Fiscal year 2018 was a record-breaking year for portfolio expansion and private-sector utilization of the ISS National Lab. Third-party funding for spaceflight R&D continued to rise, allowing us to leverage ISS National Lab resources for maximum user success—which this year ranged from patents to first-ever technical demonstrations in orbit.

Fiscal year 2017 was a banner year for the ISS National Lab, with more than 100 experiments delivered to the ISS from a diverse range of research entities spanning iconic Fortune 500 companies, innovative startups, and top-ten research universities.
