Space Tango is an industry leader in automated systems pursuing health and technology manufacturing in microgravity. Since 2017 through a NASA Space Act Agreement, Space Tango has provided facilities to support iterative R&D and manufacturing on the International Space Station. Through an integrated and established approach, Space Tango works alongside its diverse partner base to embrace pathways to on-orbit production yielding valuable and transformational solutions for humanity.

Space Tango has launched over 150 investigations in the following areas:

  • Cell Culture
  • Thin-Film Manufacturing
  • Protein-based Artificial Retina Manufacturing
  • Flow Chemistry
  • Tissues Chips
  • Plant Science
  • Microbiology

Cubelab™ Capabilities
CubeLabs™ provide a standardized platform for iterative R&D in microgravity. This automated hardware allows us to translate Earth-based science for microgravity.

  • TangoScope™ (Automated Microscopy)
  • Thermal Management Systems
  • Fluid Management Systems
  • Optical Imaging
  • Cell Culture Bags
  • Well Plates
  • Incubators
  • IO Boards (designed specifically for each mission)
