ISS National Lab Prelaunch Science Webinar: NG-21

On July 26, 2024, the ISS National Lab hosted a science webinar to discuss upcoming investigations launching on Northrop Grumman’s 21st Commercial Resupply Services mission to the International Space Station.

Davide Marotta, ISS National Lab program director for in-space biomanufacturing, and Meghan Everett, NASA’s deputy chief scientist for the International Space Station Program, joined with investigators leading projects scheduled to launch to the orbiting outpost including:

• Susan Margulies, assistant director of the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Directorate for Engineering
• Alicia Boymelgreen, assistant professor at Florida International University
• Anthony Atala, director of Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine
• Clive Svendsen, executive director of the Board of Governors Regenerative Medicine Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
• Michele Hooks, education project manager for NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement
• Pubudu Handakumbura, team leader in biology at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
