2017 ISS National Lab Mission Patch Designed by Lucasfilm

Each year, the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (the ISSInternational Space Station National Lab), manager of the ISS U.S. National Laboratory, partners with a unique partner to design a mission patch that represents all research destined for the ISS National Lab.

This year, the ISS National Lab collaborated with Lucasfilm to develop an authentic mission patch featuring elements and characters from the Star Wars™ movie franchise! This patch represents the more than 100 experiments launched to the ISS National Lab during the calendar year of 2017.
