In addition to packing the Dragon cargo spacecraft for its return to Earth on Saturday, the crew kept busy with research. Part of the day was spent monitoring the SPHERES satellites as they floated around the space station. The the ISS National Lab-sponsored SPHERES competition opens the International Space Station for use by high school students, providing them the opportunity to act as ground controllers for research in space.
