Astronauts Talk STEM From Space

As part of NASA’s Year of Education on Station, students at Framingham State University (FSU) in Massachusetts recently had the opportunity to speak directly with astronauts living, working, and doing research aboard the International Space Station.  More than 200 questions from 83 students were submitted and 25 questions were chosen to be asked during the downlink. When asked about the”‘most exciting” experiment currently happening in space, teacher-turned-astronaut, Joe Acaba, shared some details about the the ISS National Lab-sponsored investigation researching a synthetic material designed to accelerate bone repair.
