Twyman Clements, CEO of in-orbit commercial services provider Space Tango, was recently named to Fast Company’s 2018 list of the 100 most creative people in business. To compile the list, Fast Company—a progressive business media brand focused on “innovation in technology, leadership, world-changing ideas, and design”—selected individuals who have used unique ideas to advance their sectors and make a meaningful impact on their industries.

Fast Company named Clements #25 on this year’s list, highlighting Space Tango’s two TangoLab facilities on the International Space Station and the company’s successful year of commercial operations. TangoLab is a general research platform that houses up to 21 independent CubeLabs, each offering the capabilities of a full lab and running autonomously, communicating results back to the ground. The two TangoLab facilities are permanent platforms on the space station, but CubeLabs, and thus experiments, can be swapped out.
