Dragon Attached to International Space Station for Cargo Transfers

After a successful launch on Friday, the SpaceX Dragon cargo spacecraft was installed today on the Harmony module of the International Space Station at 8:26 a.m. EST. The 13th contracted commercial resupply mission from SpaceX (CRS-13) brought with it more than 4,800 pounds of supplies and payloads to the station. Part of that payload is a the ISS National Lab-sponsored investigation that is designed to demonstrate the benefits of manufacturing fiber optic filaments in a microgravity environment.
