Former NASA Astronaut Cady Coleman to Highlight the ISS National Lab STEM Programs

Former NASA Astronaut Cady Coleman will be highlighting the ISS National Lab educational programs this Saturday at the 2018 K-12 STEM Symposium in the Washington D.C. area. At the event, organized by WashingtonExec, students will learn about a wide range of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics, including space, 3D printing, healthcare, and computer coding, through engaging speakers and interactive exhibits. Coleman will be giving a keynote address at the symposium and will interact with students at the the ISSInternational Space Station National Lab booth at the event’s STEM fair. Coleman has logged more than 4,330 hours in space on the Space Shuttle Columbia and the International Space Station and is excited to share with students how groundbreaking research being done on the ISS National Lab impacts their lives.
