Research Heading into Space Ranges From the Upper Atmosphere to Microbes

A Dragon spacecraft scheduled to launch into orbit no earlier than April 2 will carry with it a number of the ISS National Lab-sponsored, ground-breaking investigations. Included in the groundbreaking science heading to the International Space Station is research in the areas of wound care to potentially combat sepsis, a new way to test the impact of the harsh environment of space and a study that could result in more effective, less expensive pharmaceuticals.
