In this NASA STEMonstration, International Space Station crew member Randy Bresnik demonstrates Newton’s second law of motion: The force acting on an object is equal to the object’s mass multiplied by its acceleration (F=ma). In the demonstration, Randy Bresnik applies force to objects of varying mass to observe differences in acceleration.
