The ISS National Lab Board of Directors to Host Public Board Meeting

Kennedy Space Center, FL (December 21, 2017) — The board of directors and executive management for the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (the ISS National Lab) will hold a public meeting to present the organization’s annual report for fiscal year 2017. Additionally, this group will review the progress being made to provide access and opportunity aboard the International Space Station U.S. National Laboratory and to outline future goals for the organization. The meeting is to be held on January 30, 2018 at the South Shore Harbour Resort & Conference Center, 2500 South Shore Blvd, League City, TX from 9:00am to 12:15pm Central Standard Time and is open to the public.

Public seating will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, for those not able to attend in person, a live webcast of the meeting will be available. During the meeting, time will be allotted for public comment and questions to the ISS National Lab senior leadership, including the board of directors and the ISS National Lab executive management. Questions and comments will be available to those physically in attendance and watching through the webcast.

The ISS National Lab will also host an International Space Station U.S. National Laboratory Implementation Partner and Commercial Service Providers Workshop following the public meeting from 2:00pm to 5:00pm that afternoon. The workshop is open to all companies currently conducting business on the International Space Station.
