This is a color mosaic of Tropical Cyclone Gita created using images acquired from the ISS on February 13, 2018. These images have been reprojected to approximate an overhead view before creating this mosaic which covers an area of 1,500 kilometers by 1,000 kilometers. Note that this southern hemisphere storm rotates in the opposite direction of the more familiar storms in the northern hemisphere.
