Craig Technologies and its subsidiaries are service-disabled veteran-, woman- and minority-owned small businesses providing engineering, technology, and manufacturing to deliver hardware and services for the U.S. National Laboratory onboard the International Space Station. Craig provides turnkey services to manage and execute the successful integration and on-orbit operations of satellite payloads using the International Space Station Integrated Kinetic Launcher for Orbital Payload Systems (SSIKLOPS). Craig and SSIKLOPS provide small satellites with the infrastructure to be deployed from the ISS into LEO with minimal technical, environmental, logistical, and cost challenges. Craig has also recently developed a Flight Test Platform (Craig-X FTP) which allows multiple industries to develop, test, and fly experiments, hardware, materials, and advanced electronics on the ISS at a reduced cost and schedule.
Craig also provides flight-rated electronic assembly and precision machining services to a diverse range of customers. Their 20,000-square-foot facility provides state-of-the-art equipment to support precision machining, welding, fabrication, and 3D printing. Their 8,000-square-foot electronics assembly facility produces a wide range of space system flight and ground cables, wire harnesses assemblies, electronic chassis, electro-mechanical assemblies, and fiber optic assemblies.
Primary Services
Craig Technologies provides turnkey services to design, manufacture, and deploy satellites. Their 20,000-square foot facility provides state-of-the-art equipment to support satellite design and manufacturing while their satellite deployer, International Space Station Integrated Kinetic Launcher for Orbital Payload Systems (SSIKLOPS), supports the deployments. Craig and SSIKLOPS provide small satellites with the infrastructure to be deployed from the ISS into LEO with minimal technical, environmental, logistical, and cost challenges.
Craig has also developed a Flight Test Platform, CraigX, which is designed to mount externally to the ISS to test new technologies and increase technology readiness levels at a low cost and reduced timeframe. The interchangeable panel design minimizes hardware changes between missions while maximizing flexibility to accommodate customer requirements.
